Lupton & Luce insurance held its second annual trike-a-thon fundraiser Saturday morning to benefit St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Kids sought out pledges from family and friends for their ride around the makeshift bike-track in the Lupton & Luce parking lot located on Howell Avenue.
About 20 kids raised more than $3,000, and it all goes directly to St. Jude Children's Hospital, according to Lupton & Luce business coordinator Krystal Haney.
Riverhead Macaroni Kid also had a tent set up at the event where kids could make small crafts to send to children in the hospital.
"We wanted to give back to the community and thought this would be a nice way to do it," said Haney.
