Southold Town Police report the arrest of Leslie Howard of Greenport on charges of driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to maintain lane.
Police said Howard, 38, was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Southold with Susan Becker, 54, of Peconic. Police said they thereafter located Howard traveling eastbound on Route 25 in Greenport, swerving onto the shoulder of the roadway. Howard refused to submit to a breath test, police said. He was arrested and held overnight for arraignment.
