The "wines and canines" 5K walk/run to benefit Kent Animal Shelter at Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead yesterday included a scenic romp through the 200-acre vineyard and dog agility demonstrations.
Participants were encouraged to bring a canine friend along for the fun.
Other event attractions included pet-related vendors, a chinese auction and a raffle.
