Riverhead Move the Animal Shelter’s fundraising holiday party at the Moose Lodge was a sellout success Saturday night, RMTAS founder Denise Lucas said.
Two-hundred and fifty people turned out for the event.
Lucas said the efforts of the organization she started a little over two years ago have raised more than $80,000 for the construction of a new animal shelter and assisting the town with the establishment of two dog parks.
