The Riverhead Chamber of Commerce presented its 2013 annual awards to recipients at a dinner at the Suffolk Theater last night.
“The Riverhead Chamber of Commerce annually recognizes select local businesses, individuals and organizations that have made a considerable impact and notable contribution to the community throughout the year and beyond,” the chamber said in a news release announcing this year’s slate of honorees:
• Dianne and Bob Castaldi of the Suffolk Theater – Businesspersons of The Year
• Island International Industries, Inc. – Business of The Year
• John Condzella of Condzella Hops – Agricultural Achievement Award
• Lisa and Richard Israel of Richmond Realty – Gold Key Award
• Stony Brook University’s Incubator at Calverton- Entrepreneurial Achievement Award
• Riverhead Local – Spirit of Riverhead Award
• Denise Lucas of Riverhead Move the Animal Shelter – Community Appreciation Award
• Debra Schmitt – Riverhead Chamber of Commerce Director of the Year
