Isamettin Aral, M.D., Board Certified Radiation Oncologist, is now seeing patients at the Riverhead center. Dr. Aral has 20 years of clinical experience in which he has held many senior positions, including Chairman of Radiation Oncology at Staten Island University Hospital. Dr. Aral is known to maintain a patient-focused approach, stressing the importance of technical excellence in balance with genuine, human compassion.
The facility provides patients with state-of-the-art, academic quality radiation therapy, including TrueBeamTM, one of the latest advances in radiation therapy technology from Varian® Medical Systems. The TrueBeamTM system integrates 3D imaging for extremely precise radiation therapy delivery. It can be used to deliver numerous forms of radiation therapy, and allows oncologists to tailor treatment and choose the method that is best for each patient.
