Peconic Bay Medical Center is offering free flu shots Monday, Nov. 11 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The vaccination clinic will be held in the hospital’s front lobby. Recipients must be 18 years or older.
The 2013-2014 trivalent influenza vaccine, provided via injection, protects against:
A/California/7/2009 (H1N1) pdm09-like virus; A(H3N2) virus antigenically like the cell-propagated prototype virus A/Victoria/361/2011; B/Massachusetts/2/2012-like virus.
