Raymond G. Wouters, formerly of Aquebogue and Southampton, died Jan. 2 in Orlando, Fla., after a battle with bone cancer. He was 53.
Born in 1959 at Southampton Hospital to Raymond and Eileen Wouters.
He served in the U.S. Navy, then moved to Ohio, where he married and raised two sons.
Wouters moved to Florida 20 years ago, where he met and married Terry, his wife of 10 years.
Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his wife; his sons, Raymond Jr. and Randy, both of Ohio; his sisters, Sheila Danforth of Oklahoma, Maureen Madigan of Riverhead and Patricia Day of Ogdensburg, N.Y.; his brothers, Timothy, of Oklahoma, and Dennis, of Arkansas; his stepsister, Christine Hilbert of Southampton; and his stepmother, Gertrude Wouters of Southampton. He was also predeceased by a stepbrother, Jack Hilbert of North Carolina.
Arrangements were handled by Atlantic Mortuary and Crematorium in Rockledge, Fla.
