Charles F. Spacek, formerly of Jamesport, passed away June 6, 2012, he was the beloved husband of the late Mary; loving father of Judith (Thomas) Jones, Nadine (David) Dischner and Christine (Michael) D'Arch; grandfather of Andrea, Andrew, Sarah, Matthew, Christopher and Thomas; brother of Frank (Elaine), Rose Gunning and the late Marie (late Edward) Paskowski. Charles was born in Mespeth, NY and was a resident of Fort Pierce for 21 years after moving from Jamesport, NY; and was a member of St. Markthe Evangelist Catholic Parish in Fort Pierce. He was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War. Prior to his retirement he served as Postmaster for the U.S. Postal service in Laurel, NY and was President of St. Isidore's School Board and Holy Name Society in Riverhead, NY. Memorials may be made in Charles' name to the Hospice of the Treasure Coast, 2500 Virginia Ave., Suite 202 Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
