Fred P. Fedoryk, of Riverhead, died April 18, 2014. He was 81 years old.

Born in Queens on March 5, 1933 he was the son of Paul and Sophie (nee Haiduk) Fedoryk.

He served in the U.S. Army as a Private First Class from 1953 to 1955. After his honorable discharge, he went on to be a self-employed carpenter under the name of F EN S Carpentry Contractors.

He is survived by his sons, James, of Conneticut, Stephen, of  Florida and Thomoas, of Virginia, and by his daughter, Marie Buday, of Riverhead. He is also survived by his brother Paul of New York and his sisters, Olga Kravitz of New Jersey and Joanne Fleury and Joyce Dewey, both of New York. He leaves behind 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, April 21 from 7 to 9 p.m and on Tuesday, April 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral Mass will be offered at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Riverhead, on Wednesday, April 23 at 9:30 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Larry Duncklee. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
