Harold “Red” Ratcliff, of Flanders, died on April 12, 2014. He was 76 years old.

Ratcliff was born on July 7, 1937, William Ratcliff and Helen Travis. He worked at Montecalvo, Inc. in Speonk as a truck driver, and served in the U.S Navy as an aviation machinist mate from 1954 to 1962, during the Korean War.
Ratcliff was predeceased by his wife, Karen, in January. He is survived by his son, Vaughn Michaud, of Flanders; his daughter, Tammie Hildersheim, of Laurel; his brother, John Ratcliff, of Georgia; his sister Phyllis Walker of Georgia; his sister-in-law, Theresa Flynn, of Flanders; his brother-in-law David Flynn, of Georgia; his niece, Victoria Flynn, of Flanders; and his nephew, Shawn Flynn, of Georgia. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, April 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home, 406 East Main St., Riverhead. A funeral service will be held during the evening visiting hours. Interment will follow April 16 at 10 a.m. at Calverton National Cemetery.
