Virginia Dunston, formerly of Riverhead, died July 6, 2014 in North Carolina. She was 93.
She was born on May 25, 1921 in North Carolina to Hanson and Annie (Haliburton) Robinson. She went on to marry Marshall Dunston in 1970.
She was employed as a housecleaner and enjoyed writing in her off time.
Predeceased by her husband and her son, Marshall, Dunston is survived by her children Walter Dunston, Virgia Faison, Hanson Dunston and Mali Johnson. She lis also survived by four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A funeral service will take place Friday, July 11 at 1 p.m. at Riverhead Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.
