A man who prosecutors said had four prior DWI convictions was arrested on driving while intoxicated and other charges at about 4 a.m. this morning.
Police said they stopped a 1999 Nissan pickup truck driven by Paul Hubley, 45, of Riverhead, on Lewis Street and determined him to be intoxicated.
A 60-year-old Flanders man is charged with third-degree criminal mischief in connection with slashed tires on trucks belonging to local commercial fishermen, according to Southampton Town Police.
