Southampton Town Police report the arrest of a Riverhead man on a charge of felony driving while intoxicated in Southampton Monday afternoon.
Police said they observed Daniel Goodale, 34, driving erratically westbound on County Road 39 in Southampton at about 4:30 p.m. Jan. 23. Police determined Goodale to be intoxicated, according to the report, and placed him under arrest.
Goodale was charged with a felony because of a prior DWI conviction within the past 10 years, police said. He was held for arraignment in Southampton Town Justice Court.
