Riverhead Police are looking for a burglar who forcibly entered Lewin Farms on Sound Avenue in Wading River last month and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the premises.
Police are asking for the public's help to identify and locate the burglar, described as a white male, who entered the farm stand at 812 Sound Avenue some time during the evening of Monday, Dec. 19 or early morning of Tuesday, Dec. 20.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers released this image from surveillance video and are offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
