Southampton Town Police report the arrest early this morning of a Riverhead man for driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, third degree.
Police said they stopped David R. Davis, 40, for failing to maintain his lane of travel on Flanders Road at about 12:30 a.m. on Feb. 1. Davis was found to be intoxicated, police said. His driver's license had been suspended for failure to answer a summons, according to police. Davis was taken into custody and held for morning arraignment, police said.
