Riverhead Middle School French teacher Betsy Rutolo and her students and chaperones traveled to Quebec City, Canada for a cultural tour over the spring break. They spent three nights and four days in Quebec City. Students were immersed in French culture, language, and food. 

Some of the highlights of this cultural experience included visiting the St. Basilica Cathedral and 2014 0425 quebec3touring Quebec City Aquarium and Museums. Students enjoyed cuisine at the French Culinary Institute and the Chanteau Frontenac, and touring a traditional French Native American Indian Reservation (the Huron Reservation). 

The trip also included a walking tour detailing the history of Quebec City and a trip to Montmorency Falls.
