Congratulations to the Riverhead (10/11) girls softball district 36 champs!
The Riverhead Girls 10/11-year-old World Series softball team won the district 36 championship Thursday, taking two out three from East Hampton to claim the district title. Riverhead pitcher Grace Dillingham pitched two complete games.
The team moves on the the sectional playoffs with their first game on Wednesday, July 25.
The girls are coached by Steve McKay and Lori Hulse.
