Riverhead Blue Waves wrestling team had a tough time in Hauppauge on Wednesday afternoon, losing 55-14.
“We have a lot of young wrestlers coming up through the ranks,” Riverhead Coach Wade Davey said in an interview after the meet. “We lost a lot of seniors last year.”
Freshman Eddie Matyka, pictured above, defeated his opponent with a pin in the first round in the 99 pound weight class.
